In today’s digital landscape, system vulnerabilities are a prime target for cyberattacks, with threat actors exploiting outdated software to gain unauthorised access. To strengthen our infrastructure and safeguard critical data, we are implementing an updated security patching schedule for our servers starting December 2025.
These changes will ensure timely application of security updates, reducing exposure to potential exploits and maintaining compliance with industry best practices.
What is MCP Changing?
Given today's ever-increasing demands on business in the field of Cyber-Security, we are increasing the rate at which security updates will be applied.
As such, from 1st December 2025, we will be moving our existing change schedule and replacing it with a weekly window for security updates.
- The current window of the third Sunday of each month will be removed.
- The third Monday of each month at 21:00hrs GMT will be used for our infrastructure updates.
- A weekly window of Monday at 21:00hrs GMT will be reserved, if required.
- Updates classed as critically severe will be applied as soon as reasonably practicable.
- These windows will only be used when necessary and advanced communication will be provided through our mailing list.
This is our monthly downtime window to facilitate essential security updates to our servers. Taking place on 15th December at 21:00hrs GMT. During this time, Destin8 will be unavailable for a period of up to 90 minutes.
